Our thermometer under the veranda shown 40 degrees Celsius this afternoon. It is hot. I think this dry heat is still better than Japanese sticky summer. It will get hotter. We had 45 a few years ago. When it gets 45, our air conditioning stops to protect the machine itself. If it happens, we just escape to somewhere cooler for some hours till cool down or our air conditioning starts working again. Normally it is a lot cooler next day (20+ degrees), so we can breathe again. This is still a beautiful place.
You seem to be learning how to use that new camera very well. Nice photos you have.

It only got to 34 here today in our pergola out the back. Official temp at 3.00pm in Springwood town was 38. You are right about dry heat being better than sticky heat. Don't know how people live in Queensland.
