The quintessence of the poor

A book title, 貧乏神髄(the quintessence of the poor ), one of my second-hand Japanese books criticizes our over consuming society and over working for the junk. People can choose simple life, more enjoyable life and freedom without a lot of many, even very little money. He is actually practicing his own life as he believes.

I thought I did well my life doing what I like without a lot of money for such a long time. So far, it seems I was given what I need always.

But I feel very guilty about my over consuming lifestyle. I arrived in Australia many years ago with one suitcase and now I have full of stuff in 3 buildings. Our fridge is almost full all the time, but I buy more. Many foods are gone before I eat. I have so many things double or triple. But when I need, I cannot find it.

I would like to get rid of junk, imitations and counterfeit. I only can have my creative future from my free space in the house & studio and in my mind.
