TV screen

New TV screen was set in my office yesterday. I watched TV inside my computer for last 5 years or so. My new iMac requires new vision software to watch, so I decided to get normal TV instead. There days TV is so thin, light and so cheep.  It is on the my wall.

I try to work with my new iMac computer. I am still not familiar to a lot of things. Now I just created an image for my next newsletter. 4 images in 1.  It has been done so far so good.

My first e-newsletter trial

I have sent my first email newsletter trial version to small number of people. I found my English mistake as soon as I sent. I will send shortly one without mistakes to many people.

New ogishi website design

I changed my website looks last night. The content is about same as before at moment. I will change ogishi glasswork images and other text as I go.

Google Analytics on my website

Google Analytics on my website has began since 7 March 2010 which is yesterday.

It already gave me some interesting information and will give so much to improve my site in future. How many visitors, Which page they went, Average time on site, % of New Visits etc.

Every answer for life is already in my self.

All answer for my computer problem is in my computer. Just like every answer for life is already in myself.

I wanted to make a simple shopping cart in my website. I need to insert HTML in there like I can do in this blog site. I tried many ways to find out including reading a book -Creating web pages for Dummies. All did not work in my apple computer. I almost gave up on myself and ask a web designer to do for me. But finally I found the answer in front of me in my computer this morning. It was so simple and easy.

Nootbook cooler

I often use my notebook computer in bed and the bottom of the computer becomes very warm.

I found this notebook cooler at Big W today. A quiet fun runs in side and it works well so far. Also it makes the computer better position on the soft place.

Painting practice - my kitchen bench

This is another computer painting practice. I like the result because the difficulty of drawing makes interesting lines and simple colour but still nice. It is a bit like a glassblowing. 

A green plant is growing towards to the window. Some of my glass vases and glass fish are on the bench.

I had a cold again.

I was in bed last few days.   I just slept most of time and read some books when  I felt like. I do not want to start working as normal even  I feel better. So I opened my note book computer to use paint software. I thought it is cute instead of photograph. This is first time to paint on computer. This is self-portrait in my nightgown. I did not see myself to draw. It is only from my imagination. 

Typing

I have started a typing practice by myself with a free software downloaded. I hope to make my wirting better and faster. At moment I use 2 fingers. I only did 2days so far and feel my fingers already leaned so much. This is similer to my piano lesson. It is my fight and challenge to my aging brain and body. I think next step is going to school to lean English.

Mind map

I have started using a mind map software trial version. I like it. It may help me to recover from my mess. My first mind map is a to do list - Happy day.

I would like to report about my past projects/purchases.

Drying celery did not work.

Compost bin is on progress. It is good.

Adove Photoshop elements 6, 30days trial

Since I changed my main computer from Windows to Apple, I could not do a few simple things because my new computer ( not so new anymore ) did not have a photo editing software. So I am trying this 30days trial Photoshop at moment. So far so good. Still a lot to learn.

Today I changed dots by Photoshop. In the end, my client decided not to have any dots.

External Hard Drive - My book

I had a cold more than one week. I went to see a doctor recently and I am taking anti-biotic. So now I am feeling better.  While I was sick, I could not do much. One of things I have done is getting an external hard drive - My book. I ordered on Internet and it was delivered. 

My computer had large memories originally, but it getting full with many pictures and some videos.  My book is like a giant version ( 1 TB = 1000GB ) of memory stick. It works very easy and does not take much of space on my desk. I am very happy so far. 

iLife 09

I have updated the software of my apple computer to iLife 09 which is for my website, photos, movies and music. I am willing to up date my website soon. I like and enjoy this type of computer work. Attached image is the new banner (2.4m wide 1.2m long) which I designed.
