My dental check

I normally go to a dentist every 6 months for regular check up and cleaning. Somehow I missed his reminder letter and I did not go a lot more than 6 months. My dentist found a broken filling and fixed it.  I have a lot healthier teeth since I live in Australia. But still I do not like any of dental work on my teeth and always I get tears on my eyes. This picture is just showing how I feel my mouth must be like this.  

My first silkscreen prints at Art after work

These are my first silkscreen prints I did last night. Setsuko's 2 glass bottles and 1 vase.

I went back to the class, art after work last night. I felt painting needs too much patient and it is too slow for me after a few painting practice before. But I looked my paintings in our gallery last weekend as background of the exhibition, I feel it is OK to continue a little longer and try to improve myself.

Painting practice - my kitchen bench

This is another computer painting practice. I like the result because the difficulty of drawing makes interesting lines and simple colour but still nice. It is a bit like a glassblowing. 

A green plant is growing towards to the window. Some of my glass vases and glass fish are on the bench.

I had a cold again.

I was in bed last few days.   I just slept most of time and read some books when  I felt like. I do not want to start working as normal even  I feel better. So I opened my note book computer to use paint software. I thought it is cute instead of photograph. This is first time to paint on computer. This is self-portrait in my nightgown. I did not see myself to draw. It is only from my imagination. 

First paintings in many many years

I attended an art workshop called " Art After Work" at our town's regional art gallery. This gallery and workshop have opened just last week. I had a trouble to start painting by myself last few months. So I took this opportunity to kick myself. It was only 1 and 1/2 hours. I just use paper and paint provided and do what ever I like.  It was fun and I am very happy for my first paintings in many many years. These paintings are not finished. I will continue to work next week.   

White canvas, it is ready to paint.

I have set up my painting area at home. This white canvas is ready to paint. I have not painted for 30 years. I am a bit scared. It was very hot day, today. I was in our gallery well air conditioned in the afternoon, but our air conditioning at home is not working well. So my painting work has not been progressed yet. It is still white.
