Lunch with friends

                                

I has a lovely lunch time with friends. Today's menu was "Chicken and Basil Risotto" with green salad, "Setsuko's Haney-comb Ice cream". Also they tested my espresso coffee. They are very fussy coffee drinker but they gave me a tick mark for mine. Now I have a confidence with my coffee.

桜、自由が丘、デザート。Cherry blossom & Sweets in Jiyugaoka Japan

This is Jiyugaoka in Japan on 1 April 2010. My daughter and I visited my friend. Jiyugaoka is one of very trendy place in Tokyo and famous for Sweets. We were lucky to see such a beautiful cherry blossom as eating. It is a heaven.

Xmas 09 with friends

We spent this Xmas with our friends at our home. Two boys cooked the dinner.

絵的な桃たち. picturesque peaches

Friends of us brought these peaches lasts night. They are very picturesque on the red plate. The friends are Japanese potters who live in Australia, far distance from us. We had my Korma curry and Nan bread which I recently mastered for dinner.  We had a lovely time.  

Dates Scones

My old friend Alex came to see us. When I talked on the phone last night, I had a project in my mind to make scones with her. I never made before and I knew she is a very good scone maker. We took a half hour from the beginning, chopping dates to be baked.  Also Jennie who is another old friend came, so we had these scones with tea together. 

My milk jug

We had  another great day today. We visited Christine. She served coffee with a milk jug I made. I was very happy to see the jug been using and looks good on the table.  Just feel like watching my child behaving well on somewhere else and doing well alone. 

Peter and Barbara who had 30th wedding anniversary

We visited Peter and Barbara who had 30th wedding anniversary and they having a cruise in February to celebrate. 

We had another hot day today. We had a rain in the evening and it got cooler in the end. 

I started this blog without any particular thema. But I noticed I put more sky images than others. 

Aleida, Inspiring artist and friend

We had a day out to Central Coast and visited a friend who is our customer, potter, painter and mix media artist. A few years ago when I visited her shop in Avoca Beach first time I got an idea of creating website by our-self from her and I did.   This time I've got some ideas me to paint again.  Also her house, studio and garden gave us a lots of good inspirations.
